What Information Do We Collect?
Like most website operators, MAP collects non-personal information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. MAP’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how MAP's visitors use its website. From time to time, MAP may release non-personal information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website.
MAP also collects potentially personal information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for logged in users and for users leaving comments on solutions hosted on MAPcloud Hosting. MAP only discloses logged in user and commenter IP addresses under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personal information as described below, except that user generated content (“UGC”) IP addresses are visible and disclosed to the administrators of the UGC where the comment was left.
MAP may collect statistics about the behaviour of visitors to its websites. For instance, MAP may monitor the most popular solutions built on MAP . MAP may display this information publicly or provide it to others. However, MAP does not disclose personal information other than as described below.
MAP’s websites, with the drawback that certain features of MAP’s websites may not function properly without the aid of cookies.
Certain visitors to MAP’s websites choose to interact with MAP in ways that require MAP to gather personal information. The amount and type of information that MAP gathers depends on the nature of the interaction. For example, we ask visitors who sign up for an account or newsletter at www.thelogicbox.com to provide an email address and as well are asked to provide additional information, including as necessary the personal and financial information required to process licensing transactions. In each case, MAP collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor’s interaction with MAP. And visitors can always refuse to supply personal information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain website-related activities.
How Do We Use the Personal Information We Collect?

These uses improve the Site and better tailor it to meet your needs, so as to provide you with a smooth, efficient, safe and customized experience while using the Site.
If you are a registered user of an MAP website and have supplied your email address, MAP may occasionally send you an email to tell you about new features, solicit your feedback, or just keep you up to date with what’s going on with MAP and our products. We primarily use our various product blogs to communicate this type of information, so we expect to keep this type of email to a minimum. If you send us a request (for example via a support email or via one of our feedback mechanisms), we reserve the right to publish it in order to help us clarify or respond to your request or to help us support other users. MAP takes all measures reasonably necessary to protect against the unauthorized access, use, alteration or destruction of potentially personal and personal information.
